As part of the Global IT DevOps team for Roche Diabetes Care, as SFDC & Digital Marketing manager you will report to the Head of DC IT DevOps. In this role, you will be accountable for the delivery of remotely set up DevOps teams along with the budget.
You work very closely with the business relationship managers and external service providers, providing guidance and delivering the solutions best fit their needs and accomplish the IT goals in terms of agility, scalability and cost. You need to manage internal team of solution architects and technical leads and budget for the external sourcing.
You are the single point of contact between business relationship managers and externally sources offshored DevOps teams, transforming the business needs in IT designed solutions understandable by the DevOps team in charge of the functional design and solution delivery.
•Responsible for coordination of Development and Operations duties within the Enterprise Application space, ensuring that the internally and externally in-house and outsourced Development and Operations services are aligned with to meet business needs and are delivered in accordance with customer SLA to agreed RDC IT standards and in line with industry best practices
•Assumes responsibility for lifecycle management, continual service and system / platform improvements and the management of changes (enhancements, projects)
•Managing the respective team of Technical and Service Delivery Leads, and the relationship with the different vendors and partners supporting the solutions
•Ensuring that processes and procedures are in place to meet the required RDC IT E2E service levels.
•Responsible for TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) of Enterprise Applications within scope
•Responsible for budgeting (run, licenses, continuous improvements and lifecycle management)
•Coordinates the Development and Operations duties within the Enterprise Application space
•Manages processes and resources delivering the Development and Operations duties within the Enterprise Application space
•Responsible for overseeing the managing the respective Technical and Service Delivery Leads, ensuring the coordination of this team in overall planning activities, service delivery and issue resolution.
•Ensures that all supporting components of the service, including any associated SLAs, OLAs and UCs are aligned and managed as integrated delivery and operations
•Responsible for the overall continuous improvement, cost reduction and performance improvement of the services.
•Collaborates with the sourcing team on supplier management and establishes/reviews/approves key contracts with external service providers, as needed
Key skills & experience
•8+ years experience with development and operations of Salesforce modules (sales, customer service and support, digital marketing and commerce cloud) and DevOps tools (e.g. Git, Maven, Jenkins etc.)
•Experience in Salesforce integration with downstream ERP / other enterprise applications via middleware platforms like Seeburger, Mulesoft etc.
•Keeps track of trends and developments in commercial domain and practices and related technologies, operating systems and applications development
•Demonstrated experience in agile ways of working
•Demonstrated experience with DevOps ways of working and tools (e.g. Git, Maven, Jenkins)
•Exposure in working in regulated enviornments to support CSV standards, and other regulatory and compliance topics (e.g. HIPPA, GDPR etc.)
•Track record of managing largely outsourced IT Development and Operations in global organizations
•Proven experience managing global and distributed teams
•Extensive outsourcing management experience and excellent professional skills in the area of “Service” in an offshore environment, supporting a global delivery business
•Understanding of relevant service delivery models (ITIL/Cobit).
•High proficiency of English language is required, other languages are a plus
•Strong communication and influencing skills
•Ability to work across groups managing individuals both directly and indirectly to achieve a common goal
•Travel requirement minimum of 25% of the time
