As a member of the IT R&D and Medical Affairs Business Relationship Management team, this position consults and designs technology and IT services for the global Diabetes Care organization R&D and Medical Affairs.

Job Purpose

Perform solution/application design and business processes optimization in order to meet business, customer and technological requirements at a global level in respective area

Develops and manages the respective business critical know-how within the business areas supported
Translate complex business requirements into solutions and procedures meeting current business, customer and technical requirements, while observing defined financial requirements.

Key Accountabilities

Consults business on best use of IT solutions and capabilities to improve business performance

Explains benefit and use of new/upgraded technology capabilities
Supports business and IT governance in developing business cases and the assessment of change initiatives. 
Drives small to mid-level implementations, initiatives  and change requests within own area of specialism
Leads physical and virtual cross functional teams of internal and coordinate with third parties.
Business continuity by working within the IT organization to resolve incidents, analyse problems and trends and propose and plan the implementation of solutions.
Manages communication on technology change and plans end-user and business involvement in events (training, testing
Travel  up to 30%


Key Skills/Experience

Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, IT or numerate disciplines
Total 8+ years’ experience within the area of support.
Familiarity with change management, risk management and quality management
Awareness of project management methods
ITILv3 experience and knowledge is a plus
Proven analytical skills with ability to drive efficient design concepts and deliver against milestones
Strong influencing and communication skills, fluent in English
Capable of working in an international environment with virtual teams
Strong team player with proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Previous experience in the pharma or diagnostics industry or other regulated environment is a plus
