Summary:

The role has six core areas of responsibility:

  • Responsible for all aspects of IT for Diagnostics
    • Business Solutions
    • Infrastructure Solutions and Services
    • Governance, Policies and Processes
  • Establish partnership with Business, understand business strategies and needs
  • Propose, plan and implement best practices, solutions and business process improvement initiatives
  • Tightly collaborate with Regional Competency Centers (SAP, CRM, 3C, Oper) and local Pharma organization for solutions and services delivery.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer to local organization; so as to ensure future independence to the local sites
  • Manage office & building, parking, fleet and other routine administrative tasks

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: include the following (other duties may be assigned)

  • Overall Responsibility
    • Final accountability for all IT activity in the site
    • Establish the project plan for the affiliate
    • Plan and ensure execution of agreed projects in close collaboration with Regional Dia CCs, Pharma IT organization and business
    • Responsible for implementing and animating the local IT governance process
    • Maintain relation with local IT from other affiliates in order to create local value (experience and knowledge sharing)
    • Manage and supervise the administrative tasks related to office and building, parking, fleet and other routine administrative tasks

  • Business Partnership
    • Understand business strategies and needs, in-depth understanding of main business processes (Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain, Services)
    • Manage local business requirement, formulate adequate solutions, in collaboration with the regional competency centers
    • Represents the country needs towards the region and vice-versa
    • Works only on approved projects

  • Business Process Improvement
    • Propose and implement best practice solutions
    • Drives business process improvement initiatives (procedural changes, SOPs, etc.)
    • Ensures existing systems are used adequately and proposes continuous improvements actions (change requests, etc.)
    • Manage local projects (improvement initiatives, training, etc.)

  • Collaboration with Regional Competency Centers and Pharma IT Organization
    • Represent regional and global IT towards local business and vice-versa
    • Strive to promote global or regional solutions first, design new solutions around those global standards if needed
    • Collaborate closely with Dia Regional Competency Centers and Pharma IT organization for the delivery of projects and initiatives
    • Comply to Global and Regional Guidelines, Standards and IT Quality framework (Project Methodology, System Validation

  • Application Support – Information Management
    • Ensure existing systems are used adequately and propose continuous improvements actions
    • Coordinate the key users network
    • Maintain CRM and other DIA-specific IT solutions
    • Ensures key users and end-users are obtaining adequate education and training
    • Provide information management services (support for reporting, data up and download, support to data cleansing activities, etc.)

  • Infrastructure Support – Operation
    • Ensure infrastructure services are delivered as per cost and Pharma SLA agreement
    • Manages the relation with infrastructure service provider, mainly Pharma landlord

  • Diagnostics Admin Support
    • Coordinate with building management for office / building maintenance
    • Reporting of office premises data to global
    • Liaise with fleet and business for fleet services
    • Other routine administrative functions

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or Information Technology
  • With 2 to 5 years work experience, preferably in the IT or related industry
  • Experience in multinational companies is preferred
  • Knowledgeable in IT hardware and LAN networks
