The position:

As a member of our field based Applications Specialists team, you will be primarily responsible for providing superior support to our laboratory customer base across New South Wales. Using your previous experience and after training, you will install, train and provide troubleshooting assistance for predominantly the Roche’s Haematology systems. The role will also involve supporting the Biochemistry and Immunoassay analytical after appropriate training but the focus of this position is Haematology.

While, you will primarily be servicing our customer base across New South Wales, you may also need to travel to other states as required.

To be successful in this position, our new team member should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A Science Degree with sound experience in Laboratory Medicine
  • Significant experience within a Pathology Laboratory particularly General Haematology.
  • Exhibited ability to diagnose applications and operational issues on analytical systems and to successfully resolve issues
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to groups
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills
  • Computer literacy
  • A valid driver's license

Previous experience or exposure to Sysmex Instrumentation and Information Technology / Middleware systems would be desirable.
