The Position

As a Delivery Management (DM) Chapter Section Lead, you will be responsible for the development of Delivery Managers in the skills, tools and standard approaches that provide functional excellence, and contribute to value-creation opportunities. You will own the relationship for your assigned PI/Pharma business domain(s). As an expert practitioner, you will be part of the chapter leadership to build and advance the capabilities of our chapter and support the transformation to the new way of Agile thinking and working. 

This position is to be based in Kuala Lumpur. Accordingly we will be posting additional roles in South San Francisco and for Basel/Kaiseraugst. Please apply for the one relevant to your respective location.

Major Responsibilities include:

  • Coach and mentor Chapter members to support and develop his/her development goals 

  • Allocate and assign Delivery Managers from your section team (or yourself)  to squads or networks

  • Ensure Delivery Managers in your section are performing to the standards of the Chapter on their assigned initiatives and provide any interventions as required. 

  • Act as Scrum Master or Agile Coach to squads as needed

  • Seek, evaluate and act on feedback on your section members from IX Networks Heads, team members, and other colleagues, in alignment with HR People Practices 

  • As part of the Chapter Leadership Team, build and advance our chapter capabilities support and evolve communities of interest, and contribute to workforce planning with Chapter Head

  • Partner with PI colleagues and Pharma business to anticipate, identify and anticipate future resource assignment needs and skills development for the Chapter.

  • 8-11 years of proven expert in the disciplines of Program Management, Project Management, Agile Coaching and Scrum Master

  • 2-3  years of experience managing people

  • Proven delivery management/project management practitioner 

  • Bachelors/Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant fields

  • PMP and or Scrum Certification, a plus
