Lead Systems Engineer for a Major Development Project in Lab Automation, Roche Diagnostics

For a major development project in the field of Lab Automation, we are looking for a Lead Systems Engineer.

In this role your main responsibilities will consist in (but will not be limited to):

  • Lead a team of Systems Engineers for the project
  • Drive the technical development of the project ensuring that the system meets the customer’s needs
  • Drive the elicitation of the Product Requirements based on business input
  • Lead the concept definition and the break-down to the component structure
  • Coordinate the systems engineering activities between all components and safeguard technical consistency and completeness during the execution of the project
  • Lead the interface management between the components as well as to connected products

In order to fulfill the requirements of the role, you should bring the following experience/skill set:

  • University degree in Life Sciences, Natural Sciences or Engineering
  • Strong experience in systems engineering ideally holding a professional accreditation
  • Strong experience in project management
  • Excellent leadership skills in managing multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience in the Diagnostics industry preferably in the field of Lab Automation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
