DevOps Engineer who will innovate healthcare

We are the IT centre for Roche - a company in the top 10 biggest R&D spenders worldwide.

We do #Code4life creating innovative software that helps doctors, patients and scientists around the world.

We need a passionate engineer who has:

  • minimum 3 years of professional experience in DevOps. Previous experience with software development is a plus.

  • experience with Docker and Kubernetes

  • knowledge of infrastructure and networking (DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, Routing, Web)

  • hands-on experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible)

  • programming skills in scripting languages like Python, Bash

  • experience with implementing CI/CD pipelines and delivering reliable software from development until production

  • experience in DevOps team organization, DevOps toolchain implementation

  • experience with logging, monitoring and alerting is a plus

  • experience with AWS or Google Cloud is a plus

  • working closely with development and QA teams to deliver software quickly and reliably

  • identifying and implement automation strategies that enable high quality, faster delivery of new solutions

  • designing and implementing solutions used by thousands of users worldwide

  • influencing and improving CI/CD pipelines across the portfolio

  • promoting the DevOps culture and advising development teams on best DevOps practices
