As an embedded tester in the team you will participate in the development process from a testing perspective, understanding the requirements and specifications and ensuring that the team produces a result according to them.
The kind of projects you would be involved are all related to medical instrumentation, but not limited to the instrument itself, also web applications and internal tools.
Main tasks and duties:
Involved in the Instrument Software area, will provide support with tasks as follows:
Participate in software development and testing following the established procedures and taking into account calendar, implementation and quality metrics defined within the Project.
Provide support with all necessary documentation related to software development and testing processes.
Participate actively with the software development team.
Review and document results following the established procedures within the Project.
Provide support in bug fixing tasks.
Provide status of issue notification to Test Manager and to software development team.
Follow up software development standards defined in Roche.
Permanently optimize processes to increase quality and efficiency standards.
You recently obtained or are in the process of obtaining a university degree related with IT or computer science and/or biomedical engineering.
Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) are essential.
You are able to read and understand source code in a programming language.
Knowledge of the diagnostic market is desired
