We need a Senior Service/Product Owner who has:

  • skills to develop an internal IT service/product, marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management and consumers at all levels,

  • skills to develop and maintain relationships with people in a multicultural environment,

  • works effectively within cross-functional teams in a matrix organization,

  • experience with Agile process of software development (SCRUM),

  • experience in work with virtual/dispersed project/service team,

  • strategic management approach and mindset,

  • excellent communication skills in English,

  • min 10 years’ experience in IT software development,

  • min 5 years’ experience in managing IT programs in a multicultural environment.

Let’s find out what a usual day of work might look like. You will:

Build Application Development Service - end-to-end, consumer oriented service, involving Roche IT organizations to address all aspects of software delivery: code development, testing & quality, infrastructure delivery, licenses management, service maintenance, etc. to fulfill Roche Business needs. Your goals will be to:

Identify and Assess Opportunities:  

  • Ensure full understanding of consumers’ expectations and delivers the required experience for the services. 

  • Cooperate with other Services Owners from Roche IT organization to better address all business needs. 

  • Ensure effective and appropriate mapping of business needs to technology capabilities.

Define your Service: 

  • Align strategic direction of software development with key stakeholders. 

  • Define Integrated Service Strategy & Roadmap, influence product standards and lifecycle plans and propose projects to enhance all components of the services.

Evolve your Service: 

  • Manage consumer experience and satisfaction with the integrated service while appropriate focusing on quality and cost efficiency.  

  • Define service marketing/communications to consumers to drive appropriate use of the service. 

  • Track service utilization and cost to ensure proper and efficient usage of resources.

  • Ensure meaningful qualitative & quantitative KPIs are in place and are managed. 

  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvement across all components that comprise the service. 

  • Position IT services in the ecosystem of complementary and competing external services.

  • Create and maintain trust and mutual understanding.
