12 month fixed term contract
With a remit to enable patient access to our medicines, you’ll be contributing to the development of high quality pricing and reimbursement strategies that are supportive of commercial and market access strategies. As a team of Health Economists, you will encourage high standards and implement systems for effective analysis and planning amongst colleagues, taking personal responsibility for the ethical conduct and culture of the team.
Collaborating with pricing and marketing teams, you will establish effective pricing policies which are cost-effective and compliant from multiple perspectives. It will be crucial to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve balanced, progressive and commercially viable outputs. In order to ensure that your strategies and solutions are closely compatible with the health economic requirements of UK HTA agencies, you’ll need to maintain an up to date knowledge of Health Technology Appraisal processes and criteria.
With a degree or equivalent in economics, statistics or a life sciences subject (or experience) and ideally post-graduate qualification, you will need to bring substantial understanding of the role of health economics in the NHS and the pharmaceutical industry. Experienced in forming strategic plans in partnership with other team members, you will have the ability to identify key contributors and to ensure quality input. You’ll also have an excellent understanding of economic evaluation concepts and project management skills.
If you are proud of contributing and feel you have the commitment to teamwork and innovation that we are seeking, then Roche is the organisation for you. In return we offer a competitive salary plus the excellent benefits you would expect from a blue-chip organisation, including a genuine interest in your development and progression.
When completing your application, please ensure you attach an up to date CV and details of your current remuneration package.
