As Employer Branding and Communications Director (Roche Shared Service Centre Budapest) you will lead the development and delivery of the communications strategy to deliver timely, targeted, creative and effective internal and external communications. You will be responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, and control of communications initiatives ensuring consistency with company strategy, employer branding, commitments and goals in compliance with the relevant Roche standards and legal constraints.

Main responsibilities:

  • Advise the General Manager of the Shared Service Centre in Budapest on communication strategy that advances the business agenda and translates into value-adding communication.
  • Responsible for communication, organizational culture, change management and stakeholder management.
  • Member of the leadership team of the Shared Service Centre
  • Driving continuously the outstanding social media, employer branding and communications strategy of the Shared Service Centre;
  • Continuously seeking for market best practices that could be implemented as a strong contributor for the strategy: to be among the best employers on the market by 2020;
  • Having a leading role in identifying Roche SSC Budapest from other SSC market competitors
  • Putting extra high focus on sharing knowledge within the team and within Roche SSC
  • People Management

You have university or college degree and at least 6 years relevant work experience, partly gained at a SSC. You have at least 5 years experience in people management. You have excellent written and spoken command of English. Furthermore you have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong communications and business development-related sales, marketing and PR experience;
  • Innovation – you are able to find creative solutions to complex problems
  • You have the ability to operate in fast-paced and multi-tasking environment, manage various deliverables, and prioritize to achieve results and meet deadlines
  • You drive for continuous improvement and challenge status quo
