As an Inside Sales Account Specialist - you will be responsible for generating revenue and maximizing profitability and sales growth by closing sales. Aligned with field sales reps, you will sell and service accounts via telephone where you will engage with customers and respond to customer inquiries, which may require research and follow-up. To be successful in this position, you will have the ability to:

• Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales goals

• Create and deliver differentiating messages and quantifiable economic value to sell Roche products and services

• Overcome objections and negotiate to close sales

• Engage in uncovering and qualifying sales leads resulting in funnel growth

• Engage on-going account support and execute programs and campaigns to meet the customer and Roche's needs

• Maintain complete and accurate customer data for assigned territory in sales force automation system per the provided timelines

• Utilize electronic resources including but not limited to SAP, Salesforce.com, Roche US Diagnostics

• Complete sales amendments and contracts in a timely fashion

• There is a 20% travel commitment

- Engage in Business to business selling

-Work independently to generate leads and screen for opportunities in Pharma and Biotech companies

• Completed a college degree preferably in Life Science or related field
• Have previous customer facing experience
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, telemarketing, technical or related experience
• Have aptitude for negotiating and persuading
• Demonstrate clear and effective speaking and writing skills
• Demonstrate ability and willingness to take ownership of individual and team goals and persist despite obstacles and opposition
• Have basic knowledge of computers, experience with software such as SAP, Excel, Outlook, etc. is required​

Preferred Experience:

Molecular Biology or Chemistry degree preferred
