Summary
To develop and implement marketing strategy to meet the RDME business objectives talking account of Corporate objectives, Profitability targets and Management and development of the Marketing Team and looking at the product life cycle from launching to maturity phase.

Your responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Implementation

  • Develop local marketing strategy and tactical action plans which conform to divisional objectives, and, through liaison with all other functions, address Company objectives, by covering all customer segments
  • Produce marketing plans in words and figures
  • Demonstration of a detailed breakdown of the promotional budget required to implement the marketing plan
  • Manage ad-media budget to plan
  • Obtain campaign feedback and update or revise the marketing plan accordingly
  • Coordinate campaigns with Sales Team and setting Business review meetings and product performance vs objectives
  • Manage and implementation of marketing plan
  • Produce and coordinate tactical tools to implement specific marketing campaigns
  • Monitor effectiveness of programs in specific markets while setting KPI measures for success

Team Management

  • Ensure all product administration duties are managed and review with team GIP every 6 months based on objectives set
  • Plan and organize training, development and learning activities for reporting staff, which address individual and business needs
  • Encourage an environment of self-development ensuring all reports initiate and act upon an individual development plan
  • Maintain and enhance the professional image of the Business Unit and the Company with internal personnel and customers

People Leadership

  • Consistently demonstrates the Roche Core Competencies and People Leadership Commitments
  • Provides feedback and conducts performance reviews of employees

Portfolio Management & Launch Plans

  • In market portfolio management based on market trends and needs from launch phase to product maturity
  • Complete product launch plan that is integrated within the country marketing plan
  • Monitor implementation and establish learned lessons

Other Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all relevant Company Policies and Procedures are understood and adhered to
  • Maintain individual skills and technical knowledge to Company standards in conjunction with Line Management and/or colleagues initiate and act upon a personal development plan

Who you are

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent. A Medical / Scientific / Engineering, an MBA degree will be preferred
  • You have at least 7 years of experience in a similar position. Work experience in KSA is a plus
  • You are fluent in English language, both spoken and written. Arabic is considered a plus
  • You have 3 - 5 years of leadership competencies with proven track of successful change management and leading through adversity with difficult decision making
  • You have strong Analytical skills and understanding of benchmarks, numbers and context
  • You have strong presentation skills
  • You are dynamic, business driven, with personal initiative, and ability to achieve goals with minimal direction
  • You are a self-starter with high level of motivation and innovation.
  • You have strong ability to analyze all aspects of the business in order to make informed business decisions
  • You have strong interpersonal interaction and people management skills
  • You have strong problem solving/decision making skills
  • You are willing to travel when required
