Multi-Channel Strategic Leader

The Multi-Channel Strategic Leader reports to the Product Strategy Director and will be held accountable for following tasks:
  • Lead the digital transformation planning in Roche Belgium
  • Work closely with the Disease Area Cross-Functional Teams to maximize the integration of Digital channels into the traditional marketing and medical mix.
  • Raise the digital IQ of the Belgium organization.
  • Act as an expert for the organization in orchestrating Multichannel strategies to maximize results
  • Evolve best practices sharing across key brands
  • Ensures implementations follows compliance and legal standards
  • Identify and work with outstanding digital agencies and partners to propose new business models and drive excellence to execution
  • Drive innovation, translating business challenges into effective digital and multichannel strategies
  • Align and advocate at global and regional levels
The key activities of the role include:
  • Drive Digital Planning Process together with brand and medical teams, integrating Digital to the Annual Brand Planning (ABP)
  • Support the creation and evolution of the Brand Digital ecosystem and its orchestration with traditional channels
  • Recommend/Define KPIs and metrics to demonstrate brand and affiliate performance on digital channels
  • Manage execution of digital initiatives with internal and external stakeholders, guarantying long term maintenance and evolution
  • Coordinate budget allocated for Digital activities, leveraging costs optimization via synergies among brands
  • Drive training and education initiatives
  • Identify and recommend, together with Informatics, innovative technologies that can be implemented by brands
  • Drive Digital research process (search engine landscape, social media listening)
  • Implement processes to ensure high quality standards in customer experience, content management and traffic drive (SEO, SEM, online media, etc.) for Roche owned channels
  • Identify and facilitate synergies across the affiliate
  • Stay abreast of digital & multichannel trends and advancements, including evaluating competitor’s activities and sharing with internal stakeholders
  • Coordination of Digital compliance process, ensuring an online risk free environment
