The Business Perspectives program is designed to provide you with a deep immersion in our two divisions, Roche Pharmaceuticals and Roche Diagnostics. This is a unique opportunity to further grow your skills and knowledge needed for future leadership roles. Totally customizable to your career interests the Business Perspectives program is completely flexible, allowing you to plan the course for your time in the program and beyond.
 
You will benefit from:
  • 2 year program with 3-4 international job rotations of 6-12 months in different business areas. For example Global Product Strategy (GPS), Sales, Marketing, Business Analytics, Market Access/Strategic Pricing, Business Development- at a global, regional or affiliate (local) Level
  • Diverse exposure: you will be introduced to different areas of the business, functions, countries, sites, markets, leadership styles and culture

Problem Statement
 
You are a product manager in a medium European country. You are responsible for the market expansion strategy of a newly launched product. This product is a web-based platform that facilitates collaboration between healthcare practitioners (radiologist, oncologist, pathologist, etc.) in treating cancer patients. To assess your product positioning, you need to determine who your real competitors are. 
How would you approach this problem and what does it mean for your market expansion strategy?
