Service Engineer

In this role you will:
  • Perform on-site service, repair and/or installation of high-tech laboratory equipment.
     
  • Provide technical support to customers on operational and maintenance aspects of high-tech laboratory equipment.
     
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance, and modifications as required.
     
  • Ensure that the supported systems meet the manufacturer’s specifications.
     
  • Provide telephone support when required to customers and colleagues
     
  • Demonstrate good communication skills both written and verbal.
     
  • Administrative duties, such as the completion of electronic service activities, stock maintenance and expenses.
     
  • Establish and develop relationships with customers that enhance the reputation and professionalism of the company.
     
  • Display customer centric behaviour in line with the company strategy.
     
  • Be able to support a rostered (1 in 10 weeks) 7 days, outside business hours’ Technical support phone line.
