Job Facts:

This role is expected to serve as part of a team that collectively works together to achieve clearly defined goals for the LCT-Informatics and RDS strategy.  The goal of the team is to begin seeding the market with information related to RSS strategy, to begin building a sales funnel by accurately profiling clinical NGS labs (but not limited to), and to bring key learnings back to the International Business Leader (IBL) and International Product Managers (IPM).

The Opportunity:

  • Work within the Lifecycle Team for Informatics (LCT) to support product management, regional teams and senior management in developing and implementing market development strategies for key target markets & products

  • Partner with affiliate field teams, business development, and other business unit teams to execute strategy and hit milestones

  • Build and manage close relationships with KOLs and industry influencers in order to achieve market development goals and stay abreast of emerging market trends

  • Leverage and communicate market information internally to best inform RDS and LCT-Informatics product development, regulatory and market entry strategies

  • Support in-field activities including customer & field education on RDS strategy, vision, and story 

  • Develop and identify scientific and clinical use cases to support the current and future product definition

  • Qualify, define and manage collaboration opportunities at strategic labs

  • Synthesize customer experiences and desires into new product concepts in partnership with the IBL and the IPM

Who You Are:

  • Strong customer focus and track record of building strong relationships

  • B.S. or B.A. in Genetics, Molecular Biology, or other scientific/technical related fields required. MBA, MS or Ph.D. is desirable

  • 7+ years’ experience in genomics/sequencing or clinical diagnostics company or other relevant experience that is transferable to the expectations of this position

  • Broad knowledge of NGS & the intersection with clinical genomics, ideally with extensive knowledge in bioinformatics and solutions architecture

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with genomics technologies, products, and applications

  • Proven experience in a highly matrixed environment and ability to successfully lead through influence across all levels of an organization

  • Strong time management skills and ability to work both collaboratively and independently to drive results

  • Works well with teams, contributing to build, encourage, and empower a strong team

  • Must have exceptional written & verbal communication and organizational skills

  • Next-Generation Sequencing
  • Bioinformatics
  • Account management and sales experience
