Title: Senior IT Product Manager
As IT Product Manager within Pharma Informatics US organization (USIX) you will be accountable for the end-to-end product lifecycle of a set of technology and data solutions (USIX Platforms) ensuring, in partnering with relevant IT stakeholders, that the products are fit-for-purpose.
In USIX we understand Platform as 3rd party application infrastructure Software that helps us to enable USIX Business Capabilities. Acting as USIX Platforms manager, implies leadership and supervision of several aspects, such as financial and vendor management, capacity planning, compliance, change management, continuous improvement, and assurance of the platform's optimal utilization using best practices.
Work in collaboration with USIX Architecture, external vendors, product managers/owners to co-create vision and strategy to help continuously improve business processes and solutions.
Accountable for USIX Platforms Lifecycle
Manage the long-term platform roadmap and backlog for USIX Platforms.
Financial Management. Coordination of licensing and maintenance needs for the product and identify and pursue efficiency opportunities.
Determine business criticality and product quality. Define, in collaboration with Delivery Service Manager, service levels, governance and operational support
Lead or coordinate technical discussions and vendor negotiations
In collaboration with IT Business Partners, monitor and improve customer and user experience
Drive Infrastructure Capacity Planning Process for USIX Platforms in collaboration with Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) Organization
Provide Best Practices and Guidelines to optimice Platform’s utilization
Ensure platform’s processes Compliance in coordination with IT Security and USIX Service Management and Operations
Govern IT change control and manage operational demand, enhancements and the continuous improvement cycle driven by business urgency and needs.
Coordinate, changes impacting USIX platform (configuration changes , lifecycle upgrades, user access...) , and if necessary setup Squad to address/coordinate response to those changes
Travel requirement : up to 20% (to South San Francisco Primarily)
5 years of relevant experience as Service Manager/Product Manager
A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT
Excellent coordination, organization and collaboration skills, and ability to orchestrate efficiently productive relationships to internal stakeholders, providers, suppliers, and vendors
Ideally good Knowledge around some of the IT Platforms under responsibility, being some of them :
Generic Knowledge around Market IT platforms used to support different capabilities, being some of them:
Field & Marketing Tools
Data & Analytic Platforms (P2P integration, MDM & Stewardship, , Data lake, Data Visualization, Data Integration, B2B FTP, Data Marts, …)
Exhibits the behaviors of a Lean-Agile Leader with a Lean-Agile Mindset
Exhibits intellectual curiosity and integrity and has strong passion to bring value-adding technology to the business.
Customer experience focused
Nice to have, any of these certifications: ITIL, Product Owner, Product Manager or Scrum Master
