Manage the overall Assets Management strategy, adopt best in class Asset Management practices to enable reliable manufacturing and supply of products to patients and customers, and to provide a safe, reliable, and efficient working environment for employees.
This position takes the role to own, develop and implement a comprehensive Asset Management Strategy to ensure the Roche Dia. Suzhou assets base is managed and maintained in a manner that aligns with the criticality of asset relative to the business requirements. The Strategy holistically involves all site facilities, utilities and process equipment, follows the asset life from end to end.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
To build, drive and shape the site reliability and assets management program
Developing and maintaining systems and processes to ensure asset master data and physical asset inventory accuracy. Implementing Early Equipment Management processes that incorporate quality, safety, efficiency, and reliability in design to deliver assets that achieve optimal performance. Developing reliability based maintenance strategies that prioritize critical assets and support business expectations for asset Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability. Operating assets in accordance with design capabilities using Lean Production approach. Minimizing equipment downtime and time spent to changeover, maintain, or repair assets is a key Equipment Availability element. Equipment Availability principles such as optimization of spare parts management and Operator Asset Care (OAC) will also be implemented. Performing Asset Reliability Analysis to routinely evaluate maintenance, operational, and asset performance and proactively implementing improvements to continuously optimize. Performing Equipment End of Life Evaluations to establish asset replacement, reinvestment, and divestment strategies based on asset criticality, condition, and full life cycle costing principles.
Own, develop and deploy assets risk management at site/platform level, including
Shape and lead the reliability components in the Site Asset Masterplans. Risk assessment and risk mitigation methodologies (FMECA, HAZOP, RCM, …). Integration of changes and new equipment into maintenance. Corrective, Preventive, Condition Based, Predictive Maintenance Strategies. Fault/Root Cause Analysis and Review.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert with respect to reliability performance
Strong involvement in the design and acquisition new Utilities equipment. Strong involvement in the development of engineering standards for equipment. Strong involvement in conducting equipment performance reviews. Strong involvement in root cause analysis on critical production installations. Continuous monitoring of new developments in the field of professional maintenance. Monitoring, evaluating and piloting new technologies to support the reliability targets. Lead execution of site and/or cross-site and strategic reliability projects and initiatives
Take up process ownership and drive continuous improvement.
Monitoring of work process. performance as well as manufacturing equipment reliability performance. Identifying and scoping opportunities for improvement, and follow-through on realization. Overseeing and connecting cross-sites optimization and best practices. Acting as formal spokesperson during internal and external audits in relation with site asset management. Keep senior management informed on reliability performance through reports program status by creating, maintaining, and presenting written reports on project and program status, tests, costs, issues, and performance against established targets on a regular basis.
Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical, automation, PE etc.
At least 5 years working experiences in Maintenance/Production/Engineering.
And 2 year additional Lean/Process Excellence/Six Sigma knowledge is preferred.
Pharmaceutical, Healthcare production, FMCG or electronic industry is preferred.
Strong ERP system application skill and Strong Data Analysis skill.
Strong communication skills in local language as well as English.
Strong self-motivation of working under dot-line and remote organization
Strong Leadership and communication skills.
