I'm looking for work experience/traineeships/internships/postdoctoral positions at Roche?
All our vacancies for work experience, internships, opportunities for thesis students or postdoctoral opportunities - in addition to our other open positions - are published on our global website. When searching for these positions select Entry Level from the Job Level dropdown.
If there are no positions available we strongly recommend you to register in our Talent pool. The registration should take you around 10-15 minutes. Thereafter, you will have the option to receive all new opportunities within Roche which match your interest. This is the ideal way to be informed on new opportunities at Roche.
What can I do if there is currently no relevant vacancy?

I saw an ad for a position I am interested in, but I can’t find it on careers.roche.com. How can I apply?
Make sure you are using the filtering relevant to this position on the Global Job Search. If you have the Job ID, this is the fastest way to find the correct job. Try using the “Location” and browse through the open positions of the location. Try using the exact job name in the Keyword section of the search. If despite all of the above, the position still doesn’t appear on the career site, then the position could have been un-posted and is no longer receiving applications. However, make sure you registered to our talent pool, and come back! New positions are being posted every day.
Who can I contact if you want further information on an opportunity?
At the end of most opportunities, you can find the recruiters contact details. You can send all your questions related to the position of your interest to this person. If no contact is available, unfortunately no communication is offered for this particular opportunity.
Once you’ve applied for a job, your Resume/CV and profile will be reviewed by Human Resources.
If you’ve joined our Talent Pool, you may be contacted at any time by a Talent Scout or a recruiter if your profile fits a new requisition. Make sure it’s up to date!
How to Apply?
We strongly recommend you register via our Career Website. There you can either apply to a specific job or if no open position currently fits your profile, you can join our talent pool. The application should take you 10-15 minutes. Your data will be stored for future applications.
You are encouraged to upload your CV in Word or PDF format as well.
Can I apply on my mobile device?Yes! All our pages are mobile ready and the application is just as easy via your iPad, iPhone, Android device.
I did not receive a confirmation email, how do I know if my application was submitted?You may have not submitted your application. If your application is still in draft and not completed you will receive an email reminder to complete it. The email will contain a link for you to finalise your application.
The Recruitment Process
You submitted your application. What is the usual timeframe you should hear from us?
Once you apply to the position, you will be provided with an automatic email confirming that your application has been successful. Timeframes differ by country but you should expect an answer within a few weeks, in many countries this will be faster. Once you have applied for the first time, your profile will be stored in the system. You might be contacted by our recruiters or by our automatic matching tool of job opportunities of interest to you.
In any case, your resume/CV will remain in our database for up to 4 years and we might contact you during that time. If you would like to be removed from the database, please review the FAQ "How can I delete my profile from the Talent Pool listed above.
What does the typical recruitment procedure look like?In general, the recruitment procedure might vary based on the country of the position for which you are applying. When applying for a position, your information will be made available to our recruiters. They will analyse your skills & experience and will compare it to the requirements of the position for which you have applied (as well as any other open position). If we believe you match the requirements, we will contact you and, in a first phase, we will invite you for a telephone interview or physical interview (or videoconference interview); further interviews will be fixed when evaluated positively.
Access and Troubleshooting Issues
I’ve lost my username or my password, how do I get a new one?
Click on My Career, then click on “Forgot your user name?” or “Forgot your password?” Follow the instruction on the screen completing all mandatory fields. You will receive by email a new password. This password will be changed the next time you log on. You can also follow the links below:
My account is locked, how can I unlock it?
If you enter your password incorrectly 5 times in a row, the system will lock your account for 15 minutes, to protect it from illegal access. After 15 minutes, your account will be automatically unlocked and accessible again. If you still can’t log in, reset your password using the “forgot password” link.
What browsers can I apply with?
You can view and apply for a position on a MAC, PC or mobile device. Please note that the supported browsers are:

I receive the error, the Job is no longer availableIf you are accessing a link through a Job Posting Notification email then you could be receiving this error if the position has been un-posted by the Recruiter and is no longer receiving applications.
How do I set up to receive Job Posting Notifications?
You can set up to receive Job Posting Notifications so when a position is posted that matches your set criteria, an email will be sent to you with a link to this position. To set this up, you need to have a Roche Talent Pool Profile. When you create or edit your Talent Pool Profile (via the link MyCareer) the fields you need to complete in order to ensure you receive relevant job posting notifications are:
On the Contact Information page, Job Level (this sets for example if you want a manager role or entry level etc), Job Type (this sets for example if you are looking for a internship or regular employee), Schedule (this sets if you would like full time or part-time work), and Shift (this sets the working hours you would like).
On the Preferences page enter in the Job Field (area you would like to work in) and Locations (where you would like to work). When setting your preferences the more specific (eg Sales/Sales Force) you are the less notifications you will receive. When your preferences are quite broad (eg Sales) you will receive more notifications.
We recommend that you regularly check your settings to ensure that they are set correctly.
I keep receiving notifications for jobs that are not relevant, how can I change the option?
The jobs notifications are based on your Employment preferences under my profile. Make sure you’ve selected the relevant Locations, Functional area/s and that your Basic Profile Information is up-to-date (your preferred Job Level, Job Type, Schedule and Shift). You can add or remove items from this list to receive more or less notifications. Alternatively, you can uncheck the option “I would like to receive e-mail notifications on Roche Group career opportunities matching my profile”. If you do so, you won’t get any notifications. Make sure you come back to our career site regularly!
How can I see a list of all positions I have applied for?
To view a list of positions you have applied for you can log into My Career and select My Jobpage. Your submissions will be sorted by Draft, Completed and Withdrawn.
Can I edit my job application?
Yes you can. You can edit a job application as long as the position is still posted. To edit your application please log into My Career. Once logged in you can click on "MyJoblist" and then you will see a list of all your Draft, Completed and Withdrawn applications. If the position is still posted you will see a "View/Edit Submission" link.
How can I withdraw from a position I have applied for?
To withdraw from a position you have applied for you can log into My Career and select My Jobpage. Your submissions will be sorted by Draft, Completed and Withdrawn. Locate the position you wish to withdraw from and click on Withdraw.
How can I delete my profile from the Talent Pool?
To delete your profile from the Talent Pool, login to My Career and on the Contact Information page you can tick the box to Remove your Profile and Applications. Once ticked your profile will be removed from the Talent Pool within 7 days. If you have applied for a position in the United States in the last three years, we are legally obligated to retain your information.
