Why did you decide to join Roche?

Roche's mission to deliver medical solutions really makes me feel like I am making a positive impact on our world by coming into work each day. That's a great feeling to have.

My work helps Roche to….

specifically, deliver the software that runs our instruments, and ensure that software development process has been documented thoroughly for quality.

How would you describe the culture and work environment at Roche?

Collaborative; at Roche it's clear that delivering innovative solutions to our customers is a team effort. The culture and work environment help to foster that sense of teamwork and collaboration. I never feel shy emailing or pinging someone new from another department - everyone is always happy to help us move forward!

What distinguishes the Roche culture from the culture at other companies you have worked for?

Similarly to the above, the collaborative spirit really distinguishes Roche. I am able to collaborate with coworkers across the globe, regardless of the time difference, because of all the great Global tools Roche offers, and because of the culture Roche has built.

What has been your biggest opportunity to date within Roche?

Networking - meeting new people from all areas of the business has allowed me to move around myself and find the ways in which I can contribute the most.
