Roche expands footprint in Hungary
New IT support function in the Budapest Shared Service Centre
Last week, the official inauguration of the IT Global User Services function in the Shared Service Centre (SSC) in Budapest, Hungary took place.
The Budapest SSC was founded in 2006 with an aim to enable our business partners to focus on what they do best. Since then we have been providing value added worldwide support and consultancy to the Group’s financial, procurement, human resources and IT organization. The Shared Service Center is a place full of courageous, interesting, diverse talents contributing to a higher purpose - the well-being of patients.
The new team at the Budapest SSC provides IT support for Europe, Middle East and Africa; while a group of IT professionals also provide application support and services to global Roche functions such as Group Human Resources and Group Finance. Over 100 positions have been created for qualified IT professionals to work in an environment offering development opportunities across the Roche group.

We are looking for future colleagues for the following areas: Service Desk Specialist, Senior Service Desk Specialist, Senior Service Desk Analysts and Team Leads.
The Specialists and Senior Specialists are mostly focusing on providing first level support for incidents and requests for End Users on MAC, Windows or Google environments using a variety of Softwares and Business Applications. The Senior Analysts are actively contributing to developing and maintaining quality and excellence framework for the Service Desk Organizations.
Our Team Leads are focusing on people development in order to help every employee to reach their fullest potential. Next to the people management tasks, they are focusing on the account-, stakeholder-, and escalation management.
