We make it possible for each of our over 27,000 products to quickly and cost-effectively – and in faultless condition – reach our customers: subsidiaries, retailers, hospitals and laboratories worldwide.
More than 700 employees in the global logistics centre in Mannheim ensure that our products are stored, commissioned and dispatched properly. Per year, our Supply Chain Management moves one million orders and approximately 53,000 tonnes of transport volume in our worldwide distribution networks.
The Grenzach-Wyhlen site controls the logistic distribution of prescription Roche medication to pharmaceutical wholesalers, clinics and pharmacies across Germany.
Every day presents a new challenge. The correct number of products in the right quality must be ready and available at a specific time. With a motivated team and remaining in constant communication with colleagues from neighbouring departments, I can do this.
Our logistics department is divided into the following areas:
- Inventory management,
- Order processing,
- Global logistics for reagents, instruments and spare parts.
