Job openings

Our job ads will describe both the experience and education that we are looking for, but also reflect the personal skills and values that we would like our future colleague to possess.

When we have a job opening, we will list it on the website, as well as advertise it in relevant media. After an application deadline, we will evaluate all candidates and keep you updated on the process - whether you are selected for an interview or not. We will typically have several rounds of interviews with both line managers and HR, in which we will conduct an in-depth review of your application and profile, and you will also have the chance to learn more about the job in question.

Our recruitment process

At Roche Denmark, we believe in a very thorough recruitment process. We go to great lengths to make sure that the candidates we hire possess the professional and personal skills that will make them successful in a particular job. We also want to make sure that the candidate of our choice will be able to live up to our values.

It is therefore of utmost importance to us to get a thorough knowledge of the applicant before offering the open position to the right candidate. This gives us the best foundation for the future cooperation between the candidate and Roche.

Recruitment in Roche a/s (Pharmaceuticals)

Once the job ad has been closed, we thoroughly screen all applications. Subsequently, we have two or three rounds of interviews with a selected number of applicants.

The first interview is an informal interview in which we will explain the position open as well as offer some information about Roche. The candidate will have an opportunity to explain something about himself/herself and to ask more elaborate questions about the position offered. Our HR-Director and the relevant line manager will participate in this interview.

For some positions, the next interview will be an in-depth interview focusing on a number of skills, which we believe are important in order to achieve job success. The skills are chosen for each position beforehand, and are displayed in the job-ad, so that all candidates will know what is required before applying for the position.

The final interview is carried out by our HR-Director, the relevant line manager and an external consultant. Prior to this interview, we will ask the candidate to take two online tests. One test is a proficiency test, and the other is a test that measures a person’s work style. During the interview, the candidate will receive feedback on the tests. Often, the candidates who have reached the final interview stage will also get an opportunity to meet with one or more members of the relevant team.

Once we know who will go to the final round of interviews, we will let the remaining applicants know, by e-mail, that they have not been selected.

Recruitment in Roche Diagnostics A/S

In Diagnostics, we recruit most of the positions ourselves; however, for some positions we use an external consultant.

Once the job ad has been closed, we thoroughly screen all applications. Subsequently, we have two rounds of interviews with a selected number of applicants.

The first interview is an interview in which we will explain the position open and offer some information about Roche. The candidate will have an opportunity to explain something about himself/herself and to ask more elaborate questions about the position offered. Our Head of HR & Communications and the relevant line manager will participate in this interview.

The final interview is carried out by the relevant manager and a peer manager. This interview will be a more in-depth interview focusing on a number of skills, which we believe are important in order to achieve job success. Prior to the interview, the candidate will be asked to take a test measuring individual work style and personality. Test feedback will be offered to the candidate and to Roche before the interview. Often, the candidate will also get an opportunity to meet with one or more members of the relevant team.

Once we know who will go to the final interview, we will let the remaining applicants know, by e-mail, that they have not been selected.

All candidates interviewed will get personal feedback from the relevant line manager.
