How are you contributing through your work at Roche to help patients?
As hospital access team member, my job is helping hospitals know about Roche’s professionalism and strong academic study, strengthening Roche’s long-term cooperation with hospital.
A few months before the news about expired vaccines caused a great sensation across the country and cold chain management was included in the agenda by many hospitals. I was invited to prepare Hospital Cold Chain Drug Management, the training course designed and developed by Roche Pharma. Helping all the professionals in the hospital that get access to cold chain drugs to complete the “last kilometer” of the safe use of drugs by patients, assist the hospital in improving cold chain management and further promote the drug cold chain management of the whole pharmaceutical industry.
What is the most challenging part of your job or about working at Roche in general?
At the very beginning, I did not think I was suitable for the job because I was introverted. However, my manager did not think so and helped me and taught me a lot. This job really does not require any special talent. People of every kind of character have their target audience. It is important to keep the passion for learning.
Last year, one of our product lost the bid, the whole Guangzhou team resisted pressure and worked together with colleagues of other departments to put the product on records in one hospital after another and report patient's’ needs to the health administrative department. Finally March 2016, this product once again won the bid.
In fact, it depends on whether you can hold on to the last. In face of difficulties, a lot of companies just give up. Roche can stick to the end thanks to the team's morale and confidence which is essential as well as good products.
Have you seen the result of you work reflected in helping patients?
With the changes in the external environment, the existing pattern of hospital access and hospital bidding has also undergone overwhelming changes in the past few years in China. What’s more, as doctors are constantly learning new knowledge, Roche people have never stopped their pursuit of dreams.
Roche really responds quickly, we lead many competitors in implementation of “DTP” pharmacy model, hospital cold chain drug management training and infusion center without exception.
Luckily thanks to Roche’s rich lecturer resources and heavyweight speakers, they can always grasp the latest industry pulse and keep ahead of customers so as to bring customers fresh and valuable information.
