The Roche Genetics Education Program is an interactive CD-ROM developed to promote basic awareness of genetics in the general public, and offer an interactive tool to learn basic principles of genetics.

The CD-ROM is targeted to a broad audience with an interest in human genetics and its applications in drug discovery and diagnostics.

The program includes the following topics:

• Finding Genes Associated with Diseases
• Genetics of common complex disorders
• Pharmacogenetics
• Ethical, Legal and Social Issues

The CD-ROM was developed by Roche Genetics.

Order Form and language availability
The Roche Genetics Education CD-ROM is available in different languages including: English, German, French, Spanish, Greek, Portuguese, Russian , Thai and Chinese (Mandarin). You may order a free copy using the order form. Please specify the language version you would like to receive.

A Teachers Manual is available to educators. It was designed for use at the U.S. high school level in conjuction with advanced courses such as biology or biotechnology. A pdf of the teachers manual is available online.
