Roche plays an active role in representing the company's activities in genetics and genomics towards employees as well as towards the public, in carrying out education and stimulating dialogue.

The Roche Genetics Education Program is an interactive CD-ROM developed to promote basic awareness of genetics in the general public, and offers an interactive tool to learn basic principles of genetics.

The program includes the following topics:

• Finding Genes Associated with Diseases
• Genetics of common complex disorders
• Pharmacogenetics
• Ethical, Legal and Social Issues

The Roche Genetics Education CD-ROM was developed by Roche Genetics. It is available in nine different languages including: English, German, French, Spanish, Greek, Portuguese, Russian, Thai and Chinese (Mandarin). You may order a free copy using the order form. Please specify the language version you would like to receive.

The Roche Genetics Education Program Presentation Tool allows you to create a presentation by pre-selecting screens from the Program in any desired sequence.
