Within Roche, Pharma Partnering is the team dedicated to finding external innovation to strengthen the company’s R&D portfolio. In 2007, that team completed a total of 44 new agreements, including five product transactions and 30 research and technology transactions.

Our emphasis on alliance management ensures that the needs and ambitions of our partners are taken into full consideration as the partnership develops, and alliance directors are assigned to partners even before deal signing. We are now a valued partner to more than 80 companies worldwide.
