Roche Personalised Healthcare - from Vision to Reality

On December 1st, Roche presented recent milestones and successes in developing targeted treatment approaches.
Patients with the same diagnosis may react to the same treatment in different ways: While a drug can be highly effective for one patient, the same drug might not show the desired results when given to a second patient with the same diagnosis.
Targeted therapies and diagnostic tests that help to improve medical decision-making not only offer clinical benefits for patients but are also attractive due to their health economic benefits. During the media briefing, clinicians, researchers and other experts provided an insight and first-hand information on Personalised Healthcare and discussed how to bring more clinically differentiated therapies to patients.
