The AmpliChip CYP450 Test analyzes variations in two genes that play a major role in the metabolism of many widely prescribed drugs. It has been cleared by the FDA and bears the CE mark, allowing the test to be used for diagnostic purposes in the United States and the European Union.

Roche Diagnostis is working on development of AmpliChip microarrays and other gene-based assays for earlier and more specific detection of disease and identification of factors that can influence disease risk, disease progression, or therapy response.
