As a Sequencing Solutions Specialist ,you will be responsible for supporting and implementing the Roche Sequencing/Life Science commercial strategy in an assigned territory. The Solutions SS will maintain and grow business by leveraging KOL (Key Opinion Leaders) and C-level relationships with targeted accounts including but not limited to highly funded academic research institutions, pharma, and biotech accounts. You will have total ownership of relationships at designated accounts and will drive business results by independently promoting and selling the Roche Sequencing portfolio. To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have a passion for working in the Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) or Life Science market
  • Develop and execute territory business plan to meet sales goals
  • Develop and foster relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Key
  • Decision Makers at target accounts
  • Coordinate solution sales in targeted accounts that incorporate the evolving Roche Sequencing portfolio
  • Provide professional leadership in planning, organizing, and controlling balanced sales growth, continued account penetration, and customer satisfaction
  • Utilize strong product/market knowledge and sales experience to manage complex sales and resolve customer questions and concerns
    Continuously build knowledge of current industry trends, competitive information, and industry/technical knowledge and share with Roche colleagues
  • Retain, extend, and acquire customers through effective identification of opportunities and the creation and implementation of solutions
    Continuously build new base of customers that will drive future growth and maintain profitability
